Took a hard look at husky 572 and echo 7310 and 462 500. Down to 462 and 500 all videos they seem pretty close cutting speed. The 500 had a 25 light bar and 462 regular 24 or 25.First the background on the two saws: The Husqvarna was brand new with no tanks through it. 20" factory bar with narrow kerf chain. Fuel used was Husqvarna ethanol free XP+ 50:1 mix. The Stihl had about 7 tanks of fuel through it. 18" factory bar with new Stihl .325/.063 standard chain. Fuel used was Stihl ethanol free 50:1 mix.It seems most 16 inch chains are 56 links. I'm guessing maybe the bar is a tad wider (taller) than normal? Pull the muffler and take a look see at the piston and cylinder for damage or just a stuck ring. You be surprise how many stuck rings I free over the years on trimmers and chainsaws. It is 54cc and far superior to anything else built in that class such as MS290 and 455 Rancher. It has split cases, adjustable oiler, and very solid construction. Do a muffler mod and that is all it needs to be a really good firewood saw.Trilink uses a superior alloy steel (same steel found in Oregon / Carlton pro chains). As for Chinese products, the Oregon and Carlton LP chains are made in China. Most of their smaller laminated bars are also made in China. On mine I have a slot cut in the steel that will fit just about every saw ever made. Now all you need is a two jaw puller. The point of the puller goes on the crank with the jaws pulling your steel..
